About Joé Asencios

Joe Asencios is a 36 year old man, born into the ghettos of Chicago’s North side.

In high school he joined the Videography/Photography club and was part of the year book staff where he picked up his first camera.

Upon graduating from high school he was immediately shipped off into the Marine Corps and began honing his craft by taking pictures of his worldly travels, including Spain, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Panama, Thailand, Okinawa- Japan, Somalia, Peru and just recently Iraq where he documented his travels with the Marine Corps.

After returning from his overseas duty he studied under his new mentor Walter Malabehar Cantu, from which he learned the finer points of shooting Glamour and Wedding photography. He has now set out on his own to find his niche in the photography world.
